Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge in Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province Grand Canyon scenic area, Known as the world’s longest, the highest all-transparent glass bridge, measures 430 metres in total length and 6 metres in breadth, and is suspended about 260 metres above the ground. It is designed to carry up to 800 visitors at a time.

The deck is entirely made of transparent glass. The center of the bridge is the highest bungee jumping platform in the world. There is no steel bracket in the whole project. At the same time, it is a kind of bridge with all-glass structure. After the completion of the glass bridge, it will become the world’s first glaciated alpine valley glass bridge; and hit the world’s highest glass bridge, the first use of new composite materials to build bridges and many other worlds.

The glass bridge is very popular with visitors from home and abroad. It is crowded most of the time. We advise our customers to try to avoid the following periods when the park is particularly crowded:

  • National Day Holiday (October 1–7)
  • Labor Day Holiday (May 1–3)

Bridge is only open to those who have one of the limited tickets and time slot reserved. There are no exceptions: space to visit the Glass Bridge is limited and tickets have an entrance time which is reserved time.

From Downtown Zhangjiajie

Take a bus from Zhangjiajie Center Bus Station (张家界市中心汽车站) to Wulingyuan (武陵源) Bus Station. The travel time is about an hour. Then take a bus directly to the canyon.

From Wulingyuan Scenic Area
